The ROSA-521 cartridge is designed to soften drinking water in household filters of the "Trio" type and main filters. It effectively reduces water hardness, protects household appliances (kettles, coffee machines, boilers) and improves the taste of water.
Principle of operation:
The cartridge functions due to the ion exchange process, during which calcium (Ca²⁺) and magnesium (Mg²⁺) cations, which cause water hardness, are replaced by safe sodium ions (Na⁺).
Composition: ion exchange resin
Characteristics:
Size: standard 10" (fits most standard housings)
Resource: up to 6,000 liters (depending on the hardness of the incoming water)
Service life: up to 6 months
Recommended water temperature: up to +40°C
Intended use: for cold water only
Recommendations:
To increase efficiency, install the cartridge in the 2nd or 3rd flask after mechanical cleaning.
Not used for deironing or chlorine removal - only for softening.
Suitable only for water with increased hardness - if the water is too soft, softening may give it a bitter taste.
Instructions for use: Before first use, rinse the cartridge for 5-10 minutes.
Do not exceed the recommended resource. After the resource is exhausted, the cartridge must be replaced with a new one.
