The cartridge is designed to reduce water hardness in household water purification systems. Compatible with Big Blue 20" (BB20) format filters.
Principle of operation:
Contains ion exchange resin that replaces calcium ions (Ca²⁺) and magnesium (Mg²⁺) with sodium ions (Na⁺), effectively reducing water hardness and preventing scale formation in kettles, boilers, washing machines and dishwashers.

Cartridge regeneration:
After the resource is exhausted, the resin can be regenerated at home:
- Prepare a solution of table salt (NaCl):
– 100–150 g of salt per 1 liter of warm water (30–40°C)
- Slowly pass the solution through the cartridge or immerse the cartridge completely in the solution for 2–4 hours
- Then rinse the cartridge thoroughly with clean water
The cartridge is ready for reuse
Regeneration can be repeated several times, but the softening efficiency gradually decreases.
