Together with the South Korean company Picogram Co., Ltd., the production of filters with quick-release PICO cartridges has been launched. Thanks to quick-release filters, replacing cartridges takes less than 10 seconds and does not require special tools. The patented design allows you to replace the cartridge, which has its own housing, with a simple push of a button. There is no need to wash and disinfect the filter housings. The cartridges and their installation locations are color-coded. The filter, having an elegant appearance, can complement the interior of your kitchen.
What exactly does ultrafiltration remove:
- Bacteria, viruses
- Colloidal particles
- Organics
- Mechanical impurities (rust, sand, silt)
- Some pesticides, impurities within the membrane pore size (~0.01 μm)
✖️ But it does not remove:
- Hardness salts (Ca, Mg)
- Dissolved minerals (TDS — total mineralized composition)
Structure of a 4-stage UF system:
1. Mechanical filtration ("ROSA 594" (red))
