This replacement cartridge is designed to be installed in standard 10-inch flasks of household flow filters. Provides comprehensive purification of tap water, combining the properties of three effective filtering components:
Composition and functions:
Activated carbon:
Removes chlorine, organochlorine compounds, pesticides, organics, improves the taste and smell of water.
Ion exchange resin:
Reduces water hardness by replacing calcium and magnesium ions with sodium ions (ion exchange reaction).
Shungite (natural mineral):
A natural mineral of carbon origin with high adsorption, catalytic and bactericidal properties.
Shungite is able to:
- Retain heavy metals (lead, copper, cadmium)
- Neutralize organic impurities and phenols
- Partially inhibit the development of bacteria
- Promote water structuring due to the content of fullerenes - unique carbon molecules
- Due to its natural properties, shungite provides deeper purification and natural improvement of drinking water quality
